Job Description
The Lead Toddler Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement a curriculum that promotes learning through play.
Observe and assess children's development and progress.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides.
Plan and participate in parent-teacher meetings and events.
Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding early childhood education.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
State certification in early childhood education.
Experience working with toddlers in a classroom setting.
